I was reminded while scanning the current news stories, of the Lord giving us important instructions of what to look for as signs of his return.
Luke 21:25-26
25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
We have seen repeated signs in the sun, moon, and stars. We see distress after distress of nations with perplexity, meaning there appears to be no way out. We have the U.S.Government which has become such a spectacle that it rivals Cirque De Soleil or for you older folks, Ringling Bro.& Barnum & Baily Circus. A virtual gazing stock for all to marvel and wag their heads at it, as we all watch the fall of it in seemingly slow motion. Like watching a terrible auto accident and are unable to look away.
The pictures to the right of Pres.Obama including the one a little lower of his health care logo, are a cant miss for anyone with any discernment at all, glaring, screaming in your face similitude of prophetic fulfillment. The word of God states for anyone who can read, that the time just prior to his 2nd coming would be as in the days of Noah and Sodom & Egypt. Pastor Meyer preached a message a few years ago called The Day of The Bolted Door. He gave a much needed message about the parable which uses the language,
Luke 13:25
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
In the same way Noah and his were put into the ark 40 days before the flood came, and God had closed the door of the ark, those outside began to see they were in trouble. But it was too late. The language "shut to the door", means to bolt it shut. This parallels the scripture that says there was silence in heaven half an hour. There is to be a brief period when there is no more rejoicing in heaven, when there will no more repentance on earth. The parable of the 10 virgins shows us that we need to be prepared, being filled with the Holy Ghost and not chasing after cunningly devised fables.
We are swimming in a sea of prophetic similitude. The abundance of signs is comparable to a tsunami. There happening at such a fast rate we have things that point to his return daily. The earth before his return is compared to a woman in travail. As the birth draws nigh, the labor pains become more intense and much closer together until its suddenly over. This is what we are seeing now. The recent flurry of earthquakes between Baja and Mexico was accompanied in the same 24 hr period by 8 not counting the 4 in California,earthquakes that were over 4.0 on the Richter Scale. There were many more than that that were less. The earthquakes are now coming in flurries or rapid succession like contractions. The whole of creation is groaning under the weight of great sin and rebellion against God. I feel much more recently this urgency in my spirit. Not panic, but urgency to be ready. We must soldier on, calling on our God with faith for his deliverance. That we may be hid in the day of his great indignation, and to be accounted worthy by his sacrifice at the cross to stand before him clothed in the white garment of his righteousness without spot or blemish.
The scriptures indicate that the seat of Anti-Christ and the false prophet are a type of the counterfeit system set up by Satan. It is historically documented that the Luciferian witches that run the world bank, themselves held a prophesy seminar in Europe sometime in the 19th century, & invited American evangelists to come over. This was the root of the Dispensationalism first brought here by Darby then advanced by Scofield. All of this was a Papal response to the Vatican and the seat of the Pope being exposed as the seat of Anti-Christ by Martin Luther, who preached this truth. I cover this not to say there is not a final Anti-Christ that will rise up , as we have seen in similitude this may very well happen. But we are to look at today and having done all in preparation in the Gospel to be able to stand in the evil day, today. So knowing this, take you pick out of the sea of images of the beast. The sea of humanity, the dragon in the sea who is the spirit of Anti-Christ, Satan,the point being we need not look to tomorrow for an Anti-Christ to rise up as we have a sea of them before us. Lord help us to be ready for thy soon coming, which is nigh, even at the door.
Isaiah 27:1
In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
Most awesome Brother! Praise God for the Truth you see, most are fast asleep and are missing this. When they fianlly see it, it just may be to late. When Jesus comes will He find any faith? We will know Him in His Salvation or we will know Him in His Wrath.
